The workshop series organized by the UEH College of Economics, Laws and Government (CELG) in collaboration with the World Bank took place on May 6th and 7th, 2024. The prestigious workshop was attended by honored guests from the World Bank: Mr. Muthukumara S. Mani – Lead Environmental Economist; Ms. Dorsati Madani, Senior Country Economist; Ms. Vu Hoang Quyen, Senior Governance Specialist; Mr. Vaideeswaran S., Senior Consultant; Mr. Leonardo Garrido, Senior Consultant; and Mr. Sacha Dray, economist and modeler. The workshop series included two main sessions:
Afternoon of May 6th, 2024: Presentation on Preliminary Results from ongoing Green Growth Studies covering the following topics:
- Climate Adaptation: Damage Costs, Investment needs and implications for sustainable development
- Climate Mitigation, Green Fiscal Pocilies: Multi-scenario Results
- Blue Economy Analysis
- Governance, Policies, and Institutions for Green Growth
Morning of May 7th, 2024: Training on Methodologies used for the WB Green Growth study with 4 main topics:
- CGE MANAGE model
- CGE MINDSET model
- CPAT model
- Triple Dividend Methodology
